Sorry I haven't been blogging.. The first trimester is almost over and I can't wait! I've been so tired and yucky. Today, my sister and Megan are joining Colin and I at the library. The kids will learn how to plant seeds and all that good stuff. I'm hoping Colin takes notes - he will need to keep our garden growing this summer!!!
I do need HELP! Colin will be 4 in August. I keep getting mixed reviews on keeping him home another year before kindergarten. I planned on sending him to 3/4 preschool this year, pre-k next year and then real school. Or do you think that starting school at 6 is too old and I should just send him to pre-k this year and then school the following year?!
I can't make a decision!!!!
I'll post pictures later of our day at the library.. And can you believe it is going to be 70 tomorrow?! I am already picking out an outfit - I'm that excited! And by picking out an outfit, I mean what the heck fits that is presentable to watch a 3 year old ride a bike around the neighborhood.....

My oldest is a July Birthday and we waited and sent her when she turned 6. It is such an individual decision though based on your child. We didn't decided until she was turning 5 to wait and most of our choice was based on social reasons. We are in the Olentangy schools and you wouldn't believe how many May kids are waiting (not that your choice should be based on that) I would continue on your plan for preschool for next year and see how that goes! Lots of things will change in the next 18 months and you will definatley have a better idea then!

If his birthday is in August you won't have a choice. The cutoff date for school here is August 1 so they won't take him next fall anyway.
See, wasn't that easy? Now it's not in your hands anymore. :0)
Glad you're feeling better. Have fun at the library. Lisa and I met there the other day for storytime.
I have an August baby too. I waited and it was the best decision I ever made!
Our cutoff is Sep 1st, so Ethan missed it by 16 days. He's a 7-year old first grader now and I think it's right where he should be. No worries.
btw- I hit 12 weeks yesterday. Today was my first day with no nausea medicine and I feel GREAT! I also wore maternity clothes yesterday for the first time although it's a little early, but my jeans are starting to get uncomfortable.
Another side note - the housekeeper came in today and said "I see it in your face, it's a boy!" I was so excited! 8 weeks until I find out. Are you planning on finding out?
(Sorry I wrote a thesis on your comments!) (not really)
Thanks everyone! Heather - I swear I read that the cut off was September 1st. But you are right, that did make my decision a heck of a lot easier!!!
Beth - that's the school I went to :) Go Braves! It's great!
Mary - All my clothes are tight and uncomfortable but I can't find my maternity clothes!! LOL. I am finding out... in JUNE. I could go in 2 weeks but I have a cheap husband... So I have to wait until my dr does the ultrasound at 24 weeks.
This comment is for Mary . . .
My butler thinks I'm having a girl.
Katie, what does your gardener think you are having?
LOL . . .I'm cracking myself up here.
Hahaha. Don't be a hater, now. Remember your post awhile back about the send-away DNA test to determine the baby's gender? Well, the housekeeper's advice was f-r-e-e!
